I’ve had a bug about using leather scraps lately and finally figured out a way to incorporate them into wall art so today I’m sharing this wood banner with leather lettering.
Leather, wood and rope are a few of my favorite things and I put them altogether to make these wood wall banners.
After I cut out the leather letters I add stitching in the center of each letter for detail which also mimics how they would be sewn onto a fabric backing. The letters are then glued onto the wood banner.
And the leather creates just a hint of dimension coming off the wood surface.
This is amazing! I think they will look good in a nursery or bedroom with a name on it…
