Leather flowers.
I used to work for an interior designer back before kids and lots and lots of samples would come through. Fabric, leather, trim, cord, wallpaper, paint – everything – heaven now that I think about it.
Those days are long gone but I still have a huge bin full of ‘out dated’ leather samples just waiting to be used for a project.
After seeing all the felt flowers out in blogland I thought for sure I could do leather flowers.
Cut out six petals plus a small circle for the back and a contrasting circle the front center:
Hot glue straight edge of petal together, hold with binder clip:
Hot glue all petals together in circle form onto small circle:
And add your center:
Go crazy and make lots:
I attached a hair clip to the back to make them user friendly:
Now let’s use them:
Bling for your clipboard:
