“I” is for Ikea

April 16, 2012

Shop: Ikea finds for Spring
A little stop at Ikea and you never know what you might find.

The cutest bright pink plates and bowls and how about that striped melamine tray for $7.99, I couldn’t pass it up:

They do come in other colors:

The striped tray also comes in classic navy:

The paper plates will be perfect for our First Communion party, so pretty and very similar to the Liberty of London prints that were available at Target a few years back.

Of course the price is great too, they’re not the thickest paper plates but will do for an easy lunch.

They also carry smaller melamine trays with the same floral print, at $3.99 a piece I bought one for each of my girls:

I’ve learned my lesson when shopping at Ikea, buy it when you see it otherwise you might lose out!  How could you resist when the items are so perfect for the season?

You got some cute stuff! The closest Ikea for me is almost 2 hours away, so I don't get to go that often. It is on the way to my sister's house, so maybe next trip…

I love the things you found. Now I have to go to IKEA – again. It's on my way home from school, so I often (maybe to often) stop by and get a lot of crap 🙂 I never thought of this – the names on IKEA's things are in swedish in other countries as well. I live in Denmark, but Sweden and Denmark are neighbors, so I understand all the names – do you understand ANY of them? By the way, I LOVE YOUR BLOG! Such a great inspiration. Check mine out – but it is in Danish – sorry!
