“G” is for Giveaway: Iron

March 10, 2014

Today I have a special treat for one lucky reader.

Giveaway: Hamilton Beach Durathon® Iron

One lucky reader will win a Durathon® electronic iron with retractable cord and who doesn’t love a great iron?

The Durathon® iron has it all – great steam, auto shut-off, electronic control settings, and a retractable cord.

I’ve been using it for the last month on all my sewing projects and it’s a keeper:

Believe me when I say I’ve gone through a few irons in my lifetime, in fact I had 3 in the laundry room until this beauty arrived but now all I use is this Durathon® iron.
Perhaps the best feature is the retractable cord which allows for easy maneuvering even for left-handed folks like myself.
Here I used the Durathon® iron on my self lined roman shades for our bedroom.
Now’s your chance to win a Durathon® iron:

I iron clothes the most right now, but I have some sewing projects coming up that I will iron a lot in order to complete.

When we got married and sorted out chores I made it clear that I did NOT iron, so if he wanted crisp shirts he would have to learn how. We don't own an iron.

But now I'm learning to quilt. I finally need an iron!
