Painting on fabric is always a fun idea, you can make whatever design you want.  And you don’t have to be an experienced painter to create awesome designs.  I’ll show you a few tricks to make these painted zipper pouches with ease.

How to make super cute painted stripe zipper pouches, no painting skills necessary! Use premade canvas pouches and fun paint color combinations.

No painting skills necessary to make these super fun stripe painted zipper pouches.  I used DecoArt stylin fashion acrylic in various color combinations to create the cutest zipper pouches and I’m sharing the projects details over on their blog here.

The secret to success beyond the great paint is using painters tape to create the stripes.  Once you have the tape in position to your desired stripe thickness you simply apply the paint with a paintbrush.  The DecoArt stylin acrylic is flexible and specially formulated to prevent cracking or peeling.  It works on a canvas as you see here but also on leather and other fabric surfaces.  The stylin paint comes in 14 colors and you can mix and blend custom colors to coordinate with your project theme.
