Back to school is rapidly approaching around the country and I for one couldn’t be more excited! This is my most favorite time of year (even more so than Christmas to be honest) and I rounded up some of my favorite past projects that are perfect for Fall and back to school.
It’s always nice to show up on the first day of school with a little gift in hand and this personalized teacher notes board fits the bill. A little painting and assembly and you have a cute and useful gift, see how here.
Another gift idea for the teacher which benefits the whole class is this diy pencil holder. Shaped like a pencil with lots of holes I think any teacher would appreciate this piece on their desk. The instructions for the diy pencil holder are here.
Ah yes covering the books. While most of my kids workbooks require clear contact paper (it’s a serious chore!) I do prefer to cover the hardbound books with brown kraft paper. Go old school and use paper bags to cover their books this year, I’ll show you how here plus it gives them tons of space to doodle!
It’s wouldn’t be Fall without a Fall themed wreath on the door. I combined faux red apples and wheat to make this beauty, see how here.
And lastly another teacher themed gift: teachers lounge chalkboard sign. I handpainted this version but you could easily use vinyl to create the same effect. See all the details here.
