The loft space is outfitted for Christmas with a very sweet and sugary elegant tree. A quirky little spot where my kids tend to hideout every once in awhile I thought the loft space could benefit from a bright, beautiful tree that looks as if it’s covered in yummy frosting. I’m presenting my elegant holiday tree as part of the 12 Days of Christmas celebration with Tree Classics.
This freshly, snow-dusted tree gives the look of a classic winter wonderland and the layered design of this family-friendly tree lets the ornaments become the focus of attention. There is plenty of space between the branch layers to hang decorations of any size. I love a tree that’s not fluffy or full of branches but rather has more breathing space to show off those beautiful ornaments.
Speaking of ornaments I tucked in a few wood candy treasures I whipped up from scrap pieces this week. I’ll be sharing the how-to soon, in the meanwhile I urge you to save those off cuts from building projects – you never know when they’ll come in handy.
Back to this beautiful tree – a dessert feast for the eyes with zero calories. You can see how the sturdy branches have no trouble holding the ornaments, no bending or breaking. Set up was a breeze. The tree comes in two pieces plus the sturdy metal stand.
Assembly is a cinch. Insert the larger bottom piece into the stand and then insert the top piece. Plug in the lights and you are ready to decorate! I love how the pre-strung lights are completely incorporated into the tree and even covered with flocking to hide the wires. And don’t worry if a bulb burns out or gets broken, the rest of the lights will stay lit.
Time to decorate. I used the mini snow-bird ornaments to start. Their glitter embellishments and bristly finish makes them a perfect fit for my sugary sweet elegant theme. The snow-birds come in a set of 6 and are about 2 1/2″ tall with clips attached on the underside. The mini snow-birds sit perfectly on the branches and add just a touch of nature and whimsy.
In addition to the snow-birds I also hung silver winter delight glass finials. The set comes in a package of 12 featuring an assortment of ball ornaments, teardrops, and finials in a shiny, silver finish. They are the perfect ornaments to mix and match with other decorations for a completely enchanted wintry look.
For tree topper you can never go wrong with a star. This is the Bethlehem star tree topper, it’s double-sided and handcrafted from capiz shells and metal. Bonus! this plug-in tree topper connects right to the light plug in the tree! Which means one button turns on the tree lights and the star, such an inviting glow to top off this sweet tree.
The final touch to complete this Christmas tree is the elegant satin & sequin tree skirt. It’s silver hues, silky, satin-like finish and beautiful border with sequin accents make it the perfect finishing piece. I hope you enjoyed this frosted, sweet, elegant holiday tree. Cheers to all the decorating!

Love, love the tree and how you decorated it in the “Sweet Snowy” theme! So fun and beautiful and must say that the Clifton Pine is one of my favorites to decorate….it is a cutie!! And speaking of cuties…those candy ornaments that you “whipped up” are precious!!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Thank you Shirley. So glad you love the Clifton Pine just as much as me! And yes I might have a slight obsession with making things out of scrap wood, I just can’t let it go to waste and this year it’s candy ornaments. Too much fun!
