“P” is for Plaid Pouches

Sew: personalized plaid pouches
Sturdy canvas pouches lined with plaid and plaid monograms.

I used a great pattern from Noodlehead here to make these pouches:
For contrast I added plaid to the base of the larger size and from the side you can see just how deep and wide this pouch is – it can hold a lot!
Here’s how to make the plaid pouches:

1. Following the pattern from Noodlehead cut out your pieces:
(to make the fabric letters check my post here)
2. Add the contrast bottom first:
3. Then line up the fabric letter and zig zag stitch around edge:

4. Keep following the Noodlehead instructions and add your zipper:
5. Sew side seams, leave an opening in bottom and miter corners:
6. Turn right side out, press and topstitch.
Then add zipper end fabric cover:
