Multi-Position Pro Ladder

May 18, 2020

This post about the Werner Multi-Position Pro Ladder is sponsored by The Home Depot.  It goes without saying that every homeowner needs a ladder.  And if I had to recommend any ladder this 5 position 26 foot beast is hands down the best option for your tool arsenal.

A tool review of the Werner 26ft reach multi-position pro ladder. The perfect ladder for nearly every home improvement situation you may encounter.

I’ve been a homeowner for almost 20 years now and in that time I’ve always had two ladders on hand – a 16 foot extension ladder and an 8 foot step ladder.  And I wish I could go back in time and tell myself this: you will be much better off getting the 5-in-1 multi-position ladder!  Yes it may look intimidating.  And yes it’s heavier to carry around than the other simple ladders but the functionality is far superior.

adjusting pro ladder height

Multi-Position Ladder Pros:

  • 5 ladders in 1 (extension ladder, double-sided twin step ladder, stairway ladder, 90 wall ladder, scaffolding base)
  • extra wide flared bottom legs on both ends for support
  • 375 pound weight capacity
  • industrial design
  • designed for 1 or 2 person jobs

unlocking spring loaded J locks

Like most homeowners I’ve got lots of different exterior areas that require a ladder to access.  However, getting a standard extension ladder in position wasn’t always the easiest (or safest) option.  This multi-position ladder can be used in different configurations to fit every obstacle I’ve encountered so far.  And it’s extremely easy to operate with these shatterproof aluminum J-locks.  You simply pull out and twist on both sides and then extend the powerlite rails to the height you need.

Wall Ladder Position

I think the most unique position – which isn’t possible with other ladders – is the wall ladder position.  See in the photo above my husband above is able to easily clean out the gutters in a very safe manner.

Stairway Stepladder

But my most favorite position is the stairway stepladder option.  For eight long years I’ve been scheming up ways to get up into this skylight which is over an open stairwell.  I’ve always wanted to install blackout shades on our skylights.  They will help tremendously to keep the summer heat out and now that I have this multi-position ladder I was finally able to complete the task.

Having the ability to adjust the height on both ends allowed me to place the ladder over the open stairway.

The only downfall of the multi-position ladder is that it weighs about 50 pounds.  Yes it’s a little bit heavy to move around but just think of it as a bonus arm workout!  If you are in the market for a new ladder and need something with fully functionality I highly suggest the Werner 26ft. multi-position ladder.  With 41 adjustable positions you will have all the ladder capabilities you never knew you needed.

The Werner 26ft. multi-position ladder is available at The Home Depot.

We have the same ladder–it is amazing! I was happy to see this new ProSpective tool review in my feed this morning! It makes things feel a bit more “back to normal.”

When I saw this I thought it was the same as the one we reviewed, but different brands, but still multi-positional.

Best ladder invention ever (and I remember back when you shared yours ;)). Feels so good to get back in the swing and move forward. So many projects to tackle I don’t want to waste another minute!
