Build: diy Haven coffee table
Build this super simple planked top coffee table with plans from Ana White.
Last week I taught a Building Basics: Furniture 101 class with Jen from House of Wood at the Haven Conference in Atlanta. (Haven is a DIY blogger conference covering all things DIY.) For this class we asked our friend Ana White to design plans for a coffee table, we used her plans during the class and now we’re sharing them here so you can build your own coffee table.
The legs are prefabricated unfinished pine colonial coffee table legs from Osborne Wood. Osborne has tons of leg options to choose from as well as many other unfinished speciality wood products.
The table is unfinished at the moment but any finishing work would definitely bring out that planked top detail.
There’s Jen explaining how we start with a shopping and cut list using Ana’s plans.
Here we are on to the last step of flipping the legs and apron onto the top to be attached.
Thank you to everyone who attended our classes and participated, you made it all worthwhile and we hope you’re inspired to tackle your own DIY build projects.
If you’re looking for the bench plans from the Friday class they are here.

Love the legs you all used. My goal is to be at Haven next year. I'm so jealous that I couldn't be in your class this year. 🙂 I'm sure you all were a huge hit!
