There’s something about Fall and the upcoming holidays that has me thinking about lanterns and candles. Today I rounded up four DIY wood lantern projects you can make to add that touch of wood and warmth to your space.
First is a knock off project Amy @Amy Krist posted that’s simple and has an added element with the metal wire hanger. See her tutorial here.
For a more modern look that’s colorful and doesn’t require power tools check out these cube lanterns. Perfectly sized for votives and easy to assemble.
I shared my hanging lanterns a few weeks back here. I definitely recommend a battery operated candle here and you can hang them anywhere!
Katie @Addicted 2 DIY built these gorgeous cedar lanterns. The full tutorial is over at Pretty Handy Girl here. I love how the top is open so you could definitely use a regular candle with supervision.
Always be careful with candles and wood!
