Craft: big turf letter
Construct a 3-dimensional letter from cardboard, cover with turf and add a floral decoration for some fun Spring front door decor:
Personalized to match our last name of course:
Here’s how to make the big turf letter:
1. Cut 2 matching letter shapes from cardboard and 2″ wide long strips:
2. Tape strip to edge of one letter bending as you go around the curves:
3. Then tape other letter piece to other edge of strip to make hollow form:
4. Cut turf to fit letter with plenty of excess around edges:
5. Hot glue turf to letter (right side down), clip turf at curves and pull tight to back hot gluing everything in place directly to cardboard:
6. Make flower decoration using small faux flowers, burlap and mini chalkboard marker:
7. Secure flower decoration to letter and add sawtooth hanger to back:
