“H” is for Hedge Shears

June 18, 2013

Tools: True TemperĀ® hedge shears
If you have boxwood, or any type of hedges for that matter, you need a pair of hedge shears.
True TemperĀ® sent me these hedge shears with wood handles and comfort grips to clean up the boxwood:
As you can see the hedge shears work wonders!  They are lightweight, easy to manuever and very comfortable on your hands.

We just moved into a new home, the saltbox project, and there is a ton of yardwork to be done.

First up: weed and trim the boxwood hedges:

Amazing what a few minutes with True TemperĀ® hedge shears can do:
One tree takes just a few minutes but I have 26 boxwood lining the pool so after a few hours it was all trimmed up and looking good:
And while I was busy using my new hedge shears I noticed the heavy duty landscapers (who were busy filling in the koi pond right next to me) had True TemperĀ® wheelbarrows:

You know if the professionals are using the products then they must be good!

Up next – black edging to really tidy up the lawn.
Thank you to the folks at Ames True TemperĀ® for supplying the hedge shears.  I received no compensation for writing this review and all thoughts and opinions are my own.

They look great! I've been thinking about lining the walkway to my house with boxwoods.
