This post about Dremel tools for life is sponsored by The Home Depot. It’s inevitable that you will need a few basic tools to help get by in life. Things break, things get dirty, life is messy and sometimes we need to make small repairs. I have three Dremel tools that are the perfect assistants for everyday life.
Three Dremel tools you will use for life. Basic, simple tools to assist in daily life situations like cleaning, fixing and repairs.
Today we are talking about three Dremel tools that are both affordable and great helpers:
Let’s start with the Dremel Versa as I find myself using it consistently throughout my home and daily situations. This is one the best power cleaning tools for life that takes the elbow out of elbow grease. The Versa will do the scrubbing for you!
Compact:
Check out the size and ergonomic design that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.
The Dremel Versa is a high-speed cleaning tool solution for tackling tough cleaning jobs. It comes with four accessories:
- power scrubber with splashguard
- spin brush with 3 pad options
- replacement pads sold separately
As one of my tools for life this Dremel is waterproof and allows you to effortlessly scrub away dirt, scum and grease from every surface inside and outside your home. Quickly and easily change out accessories depending on the surface. And you can polish delicate surfaces or power through serious grime with the same tool.
The raccoons left some muddy footprints on the white pool coping. So I grabbed the Dremel Versa and attached the spin brush with white foam pad. In just minutes those dirty footprints were gone and the pool looked sparkly clean.
Charging:
To charge the Versa insert the universal micro USB adapter plug into the back and it’s fully charged in less than two hours. And the blue light indicates it’s charging. Also this charger works for all three of the Dremel tools for life mentioned in this blog post. How easy is that?
Dremel Lite 4V Rotary Tool
Next up is the Dremel Lite 4V rotary tool. If you are at all familiar with a regular Dremel rotary tool then you will really appreciate this scaled down version both for it’s simplicity and size. This Dremel lite is much more manageable for simple operations and everyday situations. Basically it is a beginner Dremel tool but truly perfect for anyone.
- handheld, cordless rotary tool
- variable speed from 8,000 to 25,000 RPM
- easy battery charging
- compatible with most Dremel accessories and attachments
With the Dremel Lite you can perform all the regular tasks of sanding, grinding, engraving, etc but with a much more manageable tool. Because it’s smaller and more lightweight in your hand pl with the four speed settings you have tons of control.
It’s also worth noting this Dremel tool has the same patented EZ twist nose cap which allows you to change out accessories without using a wrench.
As I mentioned above this Dremel Lite uses the same universal micro USB adapter plug to charge the tool. Simply pull back the rubber dust cover on the end of the tool and insert the cord.
Dremel 4V GO Cordless Screwdriver
Last but not least of the Dremel tools for life is the 4V GO cordless screwdriver. So I first tried this screwdriver last Christmas and feel in love! It’s got so much torque for such a little tool you will be amazed. As a result you really don’t even have to lift a finger to operate this screwdriver, simply push and it goes all on its own.
Features:
- push and go
- ergonomic design and lightweight
- two power modes: drive and reverse
- magnetic bit holder
Like the other Dremel tools for life this cordless screwdriver has a variable speed control dial. So set your speed to match the application and you’ll be searching for all the loose screws in your home!
And the package comes with 7 bits in their own storage case. It’s very easy to swap out bits with the magnet in the screwdriver head.
Bits:
- PH1, PH2, H5, R2, S6, T20, T25
And of course just like the other Dremel tools for life the GO cordless screwdriver uses the same same universal micro USB adapter plug to charge the tool. Simply pull back the rubber dust cover on the end of the tool and insert the cord.

I have loved the screwdriver! I like that it doesn’t turn until you put pressure on it.

Same! It’s fun and I run around the house actually looking for things to fix.
