When the weather cooperates we generally eat dinner outdoors on the front patio. Having an outdoor table to fit this front patio has been on my to-do list ever since we moved in. We spend tons of time in the backyard but for dinner it’s easier to be near the kitchen. I built this outdoor dining table using Simpson Strong-Tie Outdoor Accents. It’s made completely from pressure treated boards to withstand the elements.
The base is heft and solid built with legs and cross supports. Then I used the Outdoor Accents brackets to connect the pieces. Simple and strong, you should check out all the details here.
The table top portion is actually deck boards. I used a jigsaw to cut out the circle shape but a router would work too.
This round dining table easily seats 7 adults with plenty of elbow room.
