DIY Round Outdoor Dining Table with Outdoor Accents

August 2, 2017

Thanks to Simpson Strong-Tie for partnering with me to bring you this DIY round outdoor dining table.  Finally a patio table that will accommodate my whole family with ease.

Build your own round outdoor dining table using Simpson Strong-Tie outdoor accents. Make this solid, round outdoor table for your patio space.

When the weather cooperates we generally eat dinner outdoors on the front patio.  Having an outdoor table to fit this front patio has been on my to-do list ever since we moved in.  We spend tons of time in the backyard but for dinner it’s easier to be near the kitchen.  I built this round outdoor dining table using Simpson Strong-Tie Outdoor Accents.  It’s made completely from pressure treated boards to withstand the elements.

Build Details:

The base is hefty and solid built with 4×4 posts for the legs and cross supports.  Then I used the Outdoor Accents brackets to connect the pieces.  Simple and strong, you should check out all the details here.
using deck boards for table top
The table top portion is actually deck boards.  I used a jigsaw to cut out the circle shape but a router would work too.

Round Table Seats 7 +

This dining table easily seats 7 adults with plenty of elbow room.
