Fall is unofficially here and with that comes decorating for Halloween. I worked with DecoArt to bring you this DIY Halloween urn style vase project. I made this not so spooky Halloween vase from plastic containers and scrap wood and I’m sharing all the details so you can make it too.
A DIY tutorial to make a Halloween vase using inexpensive materials. How to create an urn style vase with dollar store plastic containers.
I’m loving this black urn with all it’s architectural shapes. The curves at the top and the skinny neck coming off the sharp edges of the wood pedestal. They all combine to form a stunning urn style vase. The best part is you can make it yourself and my friends at DecoArt are having a paint giveaway!
One lucky reader will win 6 pots of Americana Decor Outdoor Living exterior / interior paint. This is the same exact paint I used on this Halloween vase and other projects like this tea cart. It’s great for plastic, wood, metal, concrete, masonry, terra cotta and more. Plus no need to prime or sand before using.
