If ever there was a tool that each and every homeowner needs this would be it. The Ridgid wet dry vacuum is a homeowner’s necessity and I guarantee you will find a bazillion uses for this powerful and durable vacuum.
Every homeowner needs a wet dry vacuum for all kinds of situations. You won’t regret adding this valuable tool to your line up.
The Ridgid 16 gallon wet dry vacuum with storage cart was engineered for the toughest cleanups, it can handle almost any type of mess you have. Check out those large rear wheels capable of maneuvering over rough terrain! The most obvious use is in the workshop for sawdust collection. I hook up my cordless sander to the vacuum to keep sanding sawdust at bay especially during the cold winter months when I’m forced to sand indoors.
Beyond the workshop this Ridgid wet dry vacuum has endless uses throughout the home. The accessory cart stores everything onboard so no more searching for vacuum bits and pieces. The 2-1/2″ locking accessories lock your hose to your wands to your floor tools, so nothing falls off in use.
This model includes:
- 7′ tug a long dual flex locking hose
- 2 extension wands
- utility nozzle
- car nozzle
- wet nozzle
- crevice tool
- fine dust filter VF5000
Nothing feels better than a clean car and getting all that debris out of the cracks and crevices is a cinch with the 6.5 horsepower motor. Now if only my kids enjoyed vacuuming as much as me!
14 years ago when my husband and I first became homeowners my mom bought us a Ridgid wet dry vacuum as a housewarming gift. Perhaps the most valuable gift ever and I highly recommend every new homeowner have a Ridgid vacuum. When that first leaky pipe happens you will be so happy to have a wet vac on hand. Or cleaning up the ashes from the fireplace. Or vacuuming the debris from removing the old wallpaper. The list goes on and on.
My older Ridgid vacuum still works great many filter replacements later. Today’s new model features the patented qwik lock filter fastening system that makes installing or removing your filter quick, easy and secure. The filter snaps on or off the vacuum for easy cleaning without any tools.
You can see the hose storage that keeps hose neat and secure when stowing or transporting. The power cord stores easily using the cord wrap and at 20 feet long provides the most reach to your power source. And the tool storage caddy at back (not pictured) securely stores the attached accessories even when lifting and emptying the drum.
My indoor basement workspace is carpeted and continually needs vacuuming to keep dust and debris at bay. The 3-layer fine dust filer captures 99.5% of all dust particles for superior filtration keeping my home and family breathing clean air.
Do you have a Ridgid wet dry vacuum in your home? This tool makes a great housewarming gift (as I learned from my mother 14 years ago) or even better maybe it’s time to upgrade your old wet vac with a new and improved model. Whatever the case may be this vacuum is a winner on all fronts.
