Husky Lights Go Everywhere

October 17, 2018

*This post is sponsored by The Home Depot.

Next to sharp blades I think lighting may be one of the most important workshop tools and one that often gets overlooked.  Being able to see the task and project clearly is not only important but also a good safety practice.  Husky makes some of the most affordable, portable and user friendly lighting options.

husky lights

Need lighting that works with you where ever you go? Husky portable lights go everywhere providing hands free light, they’re magnetic, have hooks and more.

Today I’m sharing a bit about the Husky headlight, clip light and utility light.  All three work wonders and have different features that are useful in various project situations.  I will start with the Husky 300-Lumen LED dual beam unbreakable headlight because I use it the most.

husky headlight for scrolling

This Husky headlight has quickly become my go to lighting option when I’m scrolling.  I can illuminate the area around me with 300-lumen of bright light which helps me to see precisely where to cut.  This is a lightweight hands free solution that’s perfect not only for scrolling but lots of other trades.

It has a very comfortable adjustable elastic band and the light provides 3 modes of operation, spot, flood, both spot and flood. Additionally, you can switch on the flashing red light mode which signals caution.  The light portion does have a rubber cover and is drop resistant.  It runs off of regular AAA batteries and as with all Husky products it comes with a lifetime warranty, no questions, no receipt required.

While the headlight certainly is my favorite and most used of the Husky lights the clip light is just as fantastic in it’s own right.  It’s about the size of a mobile phone and works great in tight spaces where it can shine its super-bright LED at 200-Lumen for up to 3 hours.

The clip hook on the back makes it easy to slide onto your front pocket or waistband which would be great for camping trips or outdoor usage at night.

This Husky clip light is also equipped with a built in stand and magnet on the back.  You can tilt the stand as necessary to light your space.

The final a cutest of the Husky lights is the hook utility light.  Equipped with a built in hook that can swivel any which way so you can hang the light.  The light has a 12 m throw and the outside is made of a durable rubber over mold with a 10 ft. drop resistance.

Just like the clip light this hook utility light has a magnet on the back, look how it lights up my dungeon basement storage area so I can see what’s in my toolbox:

This Husky hook light has 2 modes of operation, high light and low light and can operate for 3 hours on three AAA batteries.  Super user friendly and provides convenient light where ever you need it most.

I hope you’ll consider these Husky portable lights, they have become extremely useful in my workshop and make a great gift idea.
