It’s time friends for another Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Workshop at The Home Depot!
For this workshop we will be building a super simple hanging planter.
Please come join me at The Home Depot Store #6210 in West Hartford, CT on Saturday, September 12th at 10am.
Not in the Hartford area? Check here to find your local workshop location. A few of my other DIY blogger friends will also be co-hosting workshops at the following locations:
Jen from The House of Wood: Nashville, TN (Store #778)
Chris from ManMade DIY: Tucson, AZ (Store #410)
Michelle from Decor and the Dog: Eldridge, IA (Store #2111)
Jamie from C.R.A.F.T.: College Station, TX (Store #6559)
If you’re in the area they would love for you to join in this workshop. We know The Home Depot is the place to shop for tools, supplies, lumber, and lawn and garden products and while you’re there stop by to learn how to build the hanging planter perfect for your front steps or porch.
I’ll be at the following location for this workshop:
The Home Depot #6210
503 New Park Avenue
West Hartford, CT 06110
New to power tools? Don’t worry.
I’ll be co-teaching this workshop to show you how to make this hanging planter with user friendly power tools. Through a step by step demonstration we will make your outdoor space more beautiful and before long you’ll have the skills and confidence to do it yourself.
The Home Depot holds DIY Workshops on Saturdays and Sundays every month covering lots of different home maintenance and renovation topics. We will be building a project for outdoor decor but they also have workshops on how to tile, gardening, deck staining and more.
Please come join me and The Home Depot team on Saturday, September 12th at 10am.

I build one for my store (Rohnert Park, CA) already…but used a heavier 2 x 4 (not white wood) and used deck screws. It's a more stable construction than finishing nails. Easy peasy beginner project.
